A simple lager made with the best ingredients, plus time. Bohemian Pilsner malt and Saaz hops is a classic combination; tried, tested and enjoyed worldwide pretty much since the pioneering Josef Groll first began to brew pale beers in Plzen around 1842.
Time is arguably the most important bit; we let this beer rest in the tank for six weeks.
Pours a deep golden straw colour with a very faint haze and crisp, white foam. On the nose, fresh bread dough dominates with delicate spicy, floral and fruit notes in support. Low and slow fermentation allows the flavours to shine and offers exceptional drinkability. There’s a pronounced bitterness and carbonic bite but it’s a soft and rounded affair; rich, complex maltiness in harmony with subtle, noble hops.
