A lovely, sweet malt dominated bitter lifted by the fruitiness of the hops and the light, bitter finish.

Originally founded in 1758, the Old Brewery in Tadcaster became home to Samuel Smith Brewery in 1886 and has remained independent ever since. With water still drawn from a well dating back to 1758 and a yeast strain over 100 years old still used, it is clear that this brewery is proud of it's history and tradition. A proper old brewery that makes beers of superb quality.
