Opened in 2006 as a two-pronged beer brand attack on the American craft market by the team behind Pizza Port, The Lost Abbey and Port Brewing have two very different approaches to beer. Where Port focuses on 'San Diego' style hop-forward ales, The Lost Abbey is about bringing traditonal Belgian monastic brews to the masses. Under the guidance of acclaimed brewmaster, Tomme Arthur, Port have won numerous awards for their output while Lost Abbey have amassed a huge collection of over 1000 oak barrels for their complex ageing program.
