Ever since we began brewing, we’ve always sourced our fruit locally, or by foraging for it ourselves. Back in early 2020, we were checking on our sleeping barrels of golden sour & found 2 that displayed quite clean, crisp, almost tannic notes that we decided would suit perfectly with a fruit addition. Being late winter, we knew there wasn’t anything quick to hand but did have a contact for 100% British grown fruit purees. Blueberry jumped out as the perfect match & 500g/l was added and left to infuse the sour for 6 months before bottling
