Inspired by the Belgian Flanders Red style this beer pays homage to the legends of Rodenbach and Verhaeghe breweries. This style exemplifies the art of balancing sweet and sour and our version uses a combination of lightly roasted and crystal malts to gain a deep redden hue. Fermented with a strain of Brettanomyces known for its red berry character, in tandem with Lida Kveik, an original landrace yeast from Norway which produces tropical fruit esters. Soured naturally during fermentation with our house Lactobacillus strain we lovingly named ‘Peaches’. We refermented this beer on 250g/l Scottish strawberries and raspberries. Drink young or age, this will get weirder. Hail the Goat! All ingredients were harvested within 50 miles of the brewery (apart from the specialty malts)
