Christmas 1914. Soldiers from both sides downed arms and joined together to sing, eat plum pudding and play a casual game of football. 

Détente, a Belgian style Plum Dubbel, is a nod to the Christmas Pudding they shared. Plum, raisin, and fig notes, with spice from the yeast. In a year where the world needs a bit of a truce, some peace and humility, we can't shake hands... so this will have to do.
