Spontaneouly fermented Sour Ale aged in Bordeaux red wine barrels for 5 years

De Struise have achieved a huge amount in the last 15 years, shaking the Belgian beer world up with their big flavoured strong ales in the process. They were voted Best Brewery in the World by the members of Rate Beer in 2008 and many of their brews have featured in the Top 30 Beers in the World since 2005, most notably their strong, spiced fisherman's ale, Pannepot.
