Introducing the ninth brew in our beloved series: Proper DIPA - Luminosa Edition.

This marks our debut using the Luminosa hop, and it has exceeded all expectations.

Prepare for a harmonious blend of bright lemon and orange, giving way to a bold and juicy burst of mango and papaya. Despite its robust flavours, this DIPA remains deceptively light and boasts minimal bitterness, making it a perfect choice for true NEIPA enthusiasts.

JW Lees Brewery, operating independently in Manchester since 1822, has allowed us exclusive use of their Ale yeast strain for our Proper DIPA series. Their brewers have re-pitched the yeast for every JW Lees Bitter brew for the past 57 years through meticulous brewing, careful harvesting, and storage. The unique characteristics of JW Lees’s heritage yeast, combined with bold modern hops create a truly exceptional craft beer. 

Opened in 2015, Cloudwater boasts a team comprising of ex Brewdog and Port Street Beer House members as well as the former head brewer of legendary Manchester brewery, Marble. The idea is to produce a series of seasonal experimental beers which will push the boundaries of brewing.
