This extra special release from Boon is a blended Geuze containing 90% three year old Lambic that has been aging in the brewery's oldest Foeder. VAT 79 is over 130 years old and has been used to age Lambic for the Mariage Parfait beers since 1986. The beer is bursting with complexity, with a sour and acidic fruit character being offset by an earthy barnyard funk and light sweetness on the length.
