Brewed as a homage to the styles of beer made over a century ago at their brewery site, Bristol Beer Factory's sweet stout has all the deep roasted coffee flavours associated with the style. The addition of lactose (an unfermentable sugar) into the boil ensures a wonderfully subtle creamy sweetness and adds another dimension to this classic beer.

In 2004, Bristol Beer Factory set up home in the fermenting block of the 100 year old former Ashton Gate brewery and quickly established their trademark of brewing classic styles with a modern twist. After years of honing their craft, not to mention winning multiple awards along the way, they are now regarded as one of the finest breweries in the UK.
