For this Speling van het Lot, we macerated a new variety of plums; the Haganta, picked in Limburg, Belgium. We macerated these plums for about five months on two- and three-year old lambik and on a small oak barrel. The weighted average age of this Pruim is more than 22 months on the moment of bottling. The final fruit intensity is 358 grams of plums per litre of Pruim. 100% 3 Fonteinen.

Founded in 1887, 3 Fonteinen originally specialised in the blending of Lambic acquired from other breweries to produce outstanding Gueuze and Kriek beer. In 1998, they expanded and began brewing their own, however they still use beer from breweries such as Boon and Girardin to this day, making their output a true representation of the Lambic culture.
