Made with 30% raspberries and 5% sour cherries, waves of jammy fruit and barnyard funk wash over your tastebuds allowing subtle balanced notes of almond, oak and pears to merge with a sharp acidity and slow, puckering finish. Founded in 1887, 3 Fonteinen originally specialised in the blending of Lambic acquired from other breweries to produce outstanding Gueuze and Kriek beer. In 1998, they expanded and began brewing their own, however they still use beer from breweries such as Boon and Girardin to this day, making their output a true representation of the Lambic culture.
