3 Fonteinen Framboos met Honing is the result of maceration of hand-picked whole raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in the proportion of one kilogram of fruit per liter of lambic with the addition of honey. The raspberry lambic is then blended again with the younger lambic to obtain a minimum intensity of 35% fruit, and immediately afterwards it is bottled. These bottles are then stored in our cellars for at least five months so that the raspberry lambic can transform into a beautiful, traditional and vibrant Framboos. With an abundant nose of berries as it warms in the glass, 3 Fonteinen Framboos will age perfectly but may lose some of the bright colors and berry aromas.

Founded in 1887, 3 Fonteinen originally specialised in the blending of Lambic acquired from other breweries to produce outstanding Gueuze and Kriek beer. In 1998, they expanded and began brewing their own, however they still use beer from breweries such as Boon and Girardin to this day, making their output a true representation of the Lambic culture.
